EPL finally starting off.First match of the new season was against the newly promoted Sunderland and Tottenham Hot Spurs.There was no way that i was screaming for tottenham.Being a manutd fan Sunderland was my first choice.The match played at Stadium of Light with more than 43000 screamers all over the place.The match was upto premiership level and you dont expect for a newbie to win against premiership giants.
Sunderland played with their whole heart and soul to fight for their first match.A couple of misjudged passes and defensive errors where getting heavy on Sunderland and Tottenham ending every counterattack to goal post.Berbatov was the only man which was running hard for every ball.Sunderland won the match with a last minute goal from Micheal Chopra .The Stadium looked never so beautiful and loud at Chopra's goal.Sunderland where lucky enough for couple of times.Such miracles can be only done by Keane.A never Die attitude is what all Red Devils are about.
