Marcel Desailly was born on September 7 1968 in Accra,Ghana.He has been in teams of most prestigious clubs of their own league and has experienced a lot in different leagues.A true accomplished player which has made him in List on Legends for many reasons..He was one of the vital players in winning the European cup for Marseille in 1992 and winning again in 1994 for AC Milan.He later on went with 2 more Italian League titles for AC Milan,1994 and 1996.In 1998 Desailly was the an integral part of France Defense which made his team won the 1998 world cup.For his accomplishments for France he was awarded the Légion d'Honneur.He then moved to Chelsea after 1998 world cup where he was incharge of Center back.His efforts for Chelsea has voted him Chelsea's greatest ever center back next to John Terry.Desailly went on winning the Euro 2000 with France and finally announced his retirement after Euro 2004.He has also been listed as France top most capped player after Thuram taking over him.
